Do you maintain sites built by someone else?

Yes, that is the most common case. I start with a free audit of the existing site: I check updates, security, backups and speed, then tell you what I found and what needs doing. If catch-up work is needed before we start, I quote it separately and you see it before deciding.

Which platforms do you work with?

WordPress and Elementor, WooCommerce and Shopify. These are the platforms I work on every day since 2019 and the ones the maintenance is designed around. For custom sites or web apps built in React I assess case by case.

How much does website maintenance cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the type of site and how many changes are needed each month: a brochure site and an e-commerce store with hundreds of products are not the same workload. That is why the quote always starts from the site audit, which is free. The retainer is then fixed and monthly, with no surprises.

Question 4

Is there a minimum contract length?

Accepted Answer

No. The retainer is monthly and can be stopped. Access to the site, the backups and the monitoring tools always stays yours.

Question 5

How do I request a change to the site?

Accepted Answer

You send me an email. Ordinary changes fall within the hours included in your plan; if a request falls outside the retainer I tell you before starting, never after.

Question 6

What happens if the site goes offline or gets attacked?

Accepted Answer

Monitoring alerts me when the site stops responding. I step in: restore from the most recent backup, find the cause and close the hole. On plans with priority support I start the same day.
